Deadline for applications: May 31, if the entry qualification was gained before January 16 of the same year; otherwise· July 15
Entry requirements: general qualification for university entrance or advanced technical college entrance qualification or
entry-level test
Standard period of study:

7 semesters including final exams and bachelor's thesis.
Basic studies: Semesters 1 – 3
Advanced studies: Semesters 4 - 7
Semster abroad: 5th Semester (either academic or industrial)

Graduate degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)

The International bachelor's degree in Biomimietics / Bionik (B.Sc.) is an interdisciplinary, practically and application-oriented course of studies which incorporates biological and engineering subjects. The modular structure of the course as well as the implementation of the ECT-System assures its recognition within the international educational system.

The standard period of study is 7 semesters and incorporates 6 modularly structured, academic semesters, a semester abroad and final examinations including the bachelor's thesis.

During the first 2-3 semesters fundamentals in general science, mathematics and engineering form the basis of the course. In semester 3-7 chosen main topics are in the area of materials, construction and locomotor systems. These advanced courses are partially integrated into ongoing, up-to-date research projects as to ensure that students acquire a comprehensive knowledge of state-of-the-art biological and engineering methods and instruments.
